As an ikebana artist, autumn can pose a danger to me, especially when I am driving. The colours of trees and leaves often distract me as they stun with their glory.

Nature is very clever…. making even dull industrial estates appear attractive.
Now if only I could get onto that traffic island that has lots of miscanthus on it, I’m sure the council wouldn’t mind a little judicious pruning… you’d never know I’d been there, I promise…
